Artlantis is compatible with almost all 3D modelers currently on the market, including the DXF, DWG, OBJ, FBX, and 3DS file formats.
Specific free plug-ins for ARCHICAD, Autodesk Revit, Rhinoceros, Sketchup, Vectorworks, and Arc+ allow project exports to Artlantis.
For greater realism, Artlantis uses global illumination to physically simulate natural lighting produced and reflected by the various sources of the project known as Heliodons. It also allows the simulation of interior lighting through the use of artificial sources regardless of positioning, orientation, color or intensity. In addition, Artlantis offers 8 native IES profiles, which can be integrated with manufacturers’ catalogs, as well as Neon shaders — an emissive shader, applicable to a surface, and adjustable in power and intensity.
The Artlantis catalog contains hundreds of Media. Accurate and rich, the catalog is organized in a very intuitive way for easy navigation. Also, Artlantis has an integrated Media Store including more than 6,000 additional Media available for free or for purchase, both individually or in packs.
Artlantis offers a new tool allowing you to blanket a pre-defined area with a selection of 3D vegetation using the drag & drop function.
A simple and rational interface makes using Artlantis fast and easy!
The Artlantis preview window allows you to track your modifications in real-time, ensuring a ‘what you see is what you get’ experience.
